After School Fun Club
That is what we hope to have with our children. There is a games carpet with Lego, Kenex and Tumbling Monkeys etc. We always have a special project, such as decorating pots with ceramic paint ready for Mother's Day. There is a drawing table and the craze at the moment is Hammer Beads, fiddley but effective! We finish in the Church lounge for story time and prayer and then home time!!

Young People's Drop-in
Every Monday and Wednesday evening in term time our old organ room is open for the young people of the village to drop in and have a chat and a drink in a secure environment. This is a partnership between the Methodist Church and the Hope Valley Youth Worker's Association and is staffed by two youth workers and volunteers.

Open Door
Every Thursday morning, 10.00 till 12 noon, the 'Open Door' in the church lounge invites all to have a coffee and a friendly chat.  At this time the chapel is open for private prayer and a pause in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Women's Fellowship
Fortnightly on a Tuesday afternoon the Women's Fellowship meet to listen to a speaker and chat over some refreshments, or have a trip out using the community mini-bus. Ladies from the church are joined by ladies from the wider community.

Thursday Group
Thursday Group meet fortnightly in the church lounge and all in the village are most welcome to come and share fellowship and listen to a range of speakers.  After the AGM in May the Thursday Group take a break until September.

Men's Supper Club
This new venture sees the men of the churches in the Hathersage section of the circuit meeting for a supper cooked by the host church.  There is time for fellowship over the meal, followed by a speaker and discussion.

Ladies Chill-out
This event takes place on the last Tuesday evening of the month and, as the name suggests, is a time for the women of the church to get together and do nothing more onerous than laugh, chat, develop friendships and partake of the refreshments.
