Welcome
Welcome to the Methodist Church in Hathersage. We hope that you have had an opportunity to experience our worship and fellowship, and if not, that you soon will. Much more than this, however, we hope that in this place you will experience the love and power of God, whom we seek to serve.
We are part of the Peak Circuit and work closely with the other worshiping communities in the village. We have a number of different activities in addition to our main acts of worship.
Jesus said,
“Come to me, all of you who are tired from
carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke and put it on you, and learn from me,
because I am gentle and humble in spirit;
you will find rest.
For the yoke I will give you is easy,
and the load I will put on you is light.”
