Hall Refurbishment
Over the summer and autumn we have had our church hall refurbished. The stage has been removed to give us more space and a new floor laid. With extra lighting, new curtains and a redecorate, the hall is now more suitable and welcoming for our luncheon centre, coffee mornings and other activities and we were pleased to be able to use it for our Christmas coffee morning. We are still raising money for the alterations so look out for details of events. If you would like to book the hall please contact the booking secretary.

Our Crib Festival was held in conjunction with our Christmas coffee morning at the beginning of Advent. The church was decorated with cribs and nativity scenes from all over the world kindly lent by people in the village, and with figures that had been made at a workshop the previous weekend. The village clergy blessed the cribs and also the Mary and Joseph figures which then set off on their 'Posada' round the village. Each night the figures were passed from home to home, finally arriving at the Village Crib Blessing on Christmas Eve.
